The day of Liam’s drug test for work I was going to have several hours of solo time. I decided that I’d use the time to relax a bit and go to the laundromat.
So I stripped my bunk and packed it all up and into the dinghy we went.

The ride to the laundromat was simple enough, laundry in the bike trailer and off I went.
Then I got to the laundromat and realized that I didn’t have my wallet. I was concerned that I wouldn’t have enough quarters but turns out I’d have JUST enough. Laundry in the washers and I made my way to get some things at the grocery store.
Back to the laundromat just as the washers were finishing.
BUT

No. One of the washer’s didn’t work, the clothes were still dry and still dirty. Crap. And I didn’t have enough quarters to do another wash. So I put the clean clothes to the dryer, turned it on and moved the still dirty clothes into the working washer, just to claim it as my own.
AND back to the boat to get my wallet. A mile to the dingy dock on the bike, a mile in the dinghy back to the boat, 30 seconds to get my wallet, and the mile back in the dinghy to the dock and an other mile on the bike. It took a little while but since I’d been early there wasn’t anyone there and I didn’t need to worry.

Another 37 minutes to wash the 2nd load, then another 38 minutes to dry. And I was finally ready to go back to the boat and make my bed.
About half way back in the dinghy Liam called. He wanted to go for a bike ride so I’d have time to make my bed and head to shore at my leisure.
So I made my way to Joe’s coffee after I made my bed.
I went to Capt. Jack’s Wharf and after my tea Liam went to the dock to discover that I hasn’t checked the tide tables and the dinghy was sitting on the sand.
SO the new plan is to hang out on shore for a while an do dinner somewhere that takes Apple Pay because, you guessed it. I left my wallet on the boat again.
